Sahel Health Ghana Limited is a partnership between Sahel Health LLC, based in New York, and a local entrepreneur, Richard S. A. Arkutu, aimed at improving the private renal care sector in Ghana.

Sahel Health LLC is a U.S. based company owned by U.S. based Nephrologist with extensive experience across the renal care space, especially in dialysis facility operations. Sahel Health LLC is a Nephrologist-driven, community-centered, cost- effective global provider of dialysis services. Leveraging our knowledge and network, we aim to establish world-class centers based on best practice sharing among Nephrologists and real time access to U.S. medical personnel.

Sahel Health has also teamed up with the top practicing Nephrologists in Ghana, led by Dr. Vincent Boima.

Our first centre in Ghana started operation in February 2021 and is located within Nyaho Medical Centre, Airport Residential Area – Janet Wing that houses the Mother and Child Unit.

In July 2021, I was transient in Ghana from Virginia. I had a total of 7 treatments at Sahel Health Ghana. My treatment experience was excellent and similar to the treatment protocols in the USA. This was the first time I have sought treatment in Ghana. This clinic is located in the Nyaho Medical Complex. The treatment unit is on the second floor of the building. The vast windows and the second floor elevation provides a spacious atmosphere during treatment. The facility was very clean. The staff was very friendly and professional, from the business manager, charge nurses, and technicians. The staff constantly check on you to make sure you are doing fine. Although it was my first time there, I felt quite at home. The staff were flexible with my schedules and accommodated my needs. I even received phone calls during weekends from the charge nurse to check on me. My experience at Sahel exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend this facility. This will always be the facility of choice should I continue to need treatments when I am in Ghana.
